Local Outreach

FOOD PROVISION

CFH works with numerous Tulsa area churches, ministries and relief organizations that meet the physical needs of the underserved in our community. Each month CFH distributes thousands of groceries  from our onsite food pantry to desperate  families. We also  provide clothing and household items at no cost. The needy arrive in search  of sustenance and in the process develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

CLOTHING PROVISION

Christ for Humanity has a full stock clothing room that is used to supply families with clothing.  Often a family will come in that has had a fire and lost everything or their kids are starting school and they cannot afford to get them clothing or it is winter and they cannot afford to buy a coat. CFH utilizes volunteers to help run the in-house clothing room to meet people's physical needs, while at the same time using it as an opportunity to meet spiritual needs.

Evangelism / Discipleship Provision                

CFH has developed a program called "First Step's" This is a program to help people from difficult backgrounds and diverse cultures get foundational teaching in God's Word; while at the same time, be mentored by a mature Christian.  Each person is taught how to have a daily quiet time, mentored in spiritual growth, and plugged into a local church close to the housing complex they live. Many people that are saved through the ministry of CFH often have disabilities or come from very impoverished areas. Church culture can often seem intimidating to people who cannot read or write. So the staff at CFH developed "First Step's" to build a bridge for new believers into the body of Christ.
